From the therapy room to the microphone, Greg Kovacs brings interviews revealing courage, strength, and perseverance, while informing, educating, and encouraging growth and transformation. He is joined by Dr. Mike Griffin once monthly to dive deeper into highly requested topics.

Greg Kovacs, PhD, LMFT

Dr. Kovacs is a New York State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and host of the True You! podcast with over 20 years of clinical experience, including over 20,000 interview hours. His background in family research and academia, private practice, and not-for-profit agencies inform his research-driven approach to treatment. Dr. Kovacs specializes in the treatment of couples and families of divorce and separation and helps manage the complexities of the co-parenting relationship, post-divorce child emotional and behavioral difficulties, and the transition into blended family relationships. Dr. Kovacs is a New York State Divorce Mediator and Parenting Coordinator.

Mike Griffin, PhD

Dr. Griffin is a NYS Licensed Psychologist and NYS Certified School Psychologist. He completed his Doctoral Internship at Sarah Reed Children’s Center in Erie, PA and has taught in SUNY Buffalo’s School Psychology Program. He worked for ten years in residential treatment and as a School Psychologist and Special Education Chairperson in public and private schools. Dr. Griffin specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with learning, behavioral, and emotional problems, with specialization in cognitive-behavioral and family-based interventions for disruptive behaviors, anxiety, mood disorders, and divorce adjustment.
